Silencio – Sulian Rios
Sulian Rios moves between dance, fashion and film, and much of his audience first found him online, through Nowness, where films such as Les Presques and La Version have gathered a devoted following.
His choreography tends toward duality and closeness: one identity split across two bodies, movement that feels private even on screen. In March 2025, Sulian brought that intimacy to Silencio with two dancers, a trio in bare feet and matching black slip dresses.
Online, his work arrives framed and edited. At Silencio there was no frame at all: three bodies, the dark, and everyone in the room close enough to hear them breathe.
